也许你会发现前几个月我写的东西越来越短，有时候甚至没有写什么东西。身边的朋友也会发现我好像越来越忙。其实我不是真的因为有太多功课要做，我只是在前几个月时间亲身经历了目前最火爆的MLM公司，了解他们的运作以及他们所用的心理战术。我甚至用他们的方法来做，看一下结果如何。这段时间如果得罪过任何朋友，我先道歉一下。还有那些在SYN里面被我浪费时间的朋友，我也想道歉以前。不知道写了这篇之后又没有生命危险。
其实很久以前就有听到关于这家公司的事情。可是找不到门路进去（根本没找），后来又忘了。过后刚回到sunway的那晚，ah jay又跟我提起关于MLM的事，我便把我所知道的告诉他。过了一两个月过后，终于有人approach我。
朋友：“我要跟你讨论一些很重要的事。”
我：“说吧。”
朋友：“你难道不好奇我每天那么也都出去做什么？”
我：“不会啊。”
朋友：“…… 你难道不好奇为什么我好像那么忙一样？”
我：“不会啊，我自己也是那样。”
朋友：“……好吧。我希望你明天一定要陪我去一个business talk。”
我看了他一下，觉得好像有肥羊送上门了。
我：“是不是MLM的？”
朋友吓了一跳。
朋友：“不是MLM。我们不是卖product的。”
我：“then?”
朋友：“详细内容我不能告诉你，你明天一定要来。”
我：“你告诉我先。”
朋友：“我不能告诉你。”
以上两句一直重复。等你读到后面就知道为什么。
我：“我之前有去看过一些关于MLM的东东。”
朋友：“我们不是MLM公司。明天你去看你一定知道的。我们和其他公司不一样。你听过LB吗？”
我：“（装傻）没听过。”
朋友：“那你就对这MLM的世界什么都不知道。”
朋友：“老实说，我join这个business不只是赚到钱，我还学到很多东西，例如time management。”
我：“（很怀疑）哦……”
朋友：“还有我在这里面学到很多，例如time management。”
我：“……（因为在他的time management真的很差，join过后就更死，还有他摆明是说我不会时间管理）”
朋友：“你以后想做什么？我以后想做research的，不想
我：“那叫另外一位朋友去吧。”（当时我想我毕竟还比较年轻，找点比较老成的朋友一起去保险一点）
朋友：“好吧。”
可惜，第二天那位朋友不想去，我只好孤身涉险。
那天，我们启程了。是从taxi到ktm然后用monorail转站到town square。在monorail时看到一个a-qua，有点想吐（离题了）。那晚去到到所谓的Business Opportunity Talk (BOT)，我看到的是很多人穿着西装绑领带，可是大多数是和我年纪相仿的人。（注：这个组织大多都是在target着学生还有没那么有钱的人，因为比较容易被钱这个字所动）
朋友：“这就是所谓的business world。我现在是带你来看世界。”（老大，business world不是一定要穿西装绑领带的，不要那么白痴好不好。没看过世界的人好像是你。）。
接着朋友跑去厕所换西装。朋友介绍我几位朋友，他们都跟我说不要怕（我每次都是目无表情的），因为他们不是在卖产品（注：他们一开始一顶说不是在卖任何产品因为不想因为产品这两个字把他们的人吓走）。我们后来开始进去了BOT会场。
在要角(Winston Wong)还没来之前，我的朋友在告诉我这件公司的culture。可以看见的，很多人在拍手，站着拍手。我朋友告诉我拍手是为了欢迎重要人物出来，而且每拍一次手就代表你以后会赚一千元。我听听罢了。在大家一起拍手的情况下，这样子维持了半个至一个小时。好烦哦。可是为了融入他们，我也以我那累垮的身体一起跟着站起来拍手。（拍手文化在这间公司是时空见惯的）
终于主持人来了。BOT也开始了。其间我们还是要站起来拍手。我不会详细写出BOT的内容，不过我会写一些印象比较深刻的话。
首先在SYN，有个口号。如果有人用英文问你：“how are you?”，你就要很大声的回答：“Great!Fantastic!Yes!”。如果是中文的你就要回答：“好！非常好！Yes!”。（这些这个组织出现的地方你都会听到）
Winston Wong, “We’re not selling product.”
他们会说不是卖产品，他们会说他们在卖business plan。我觉得很好笑，你的business plan是base on product的，那也就是说你在卖产品。你只是想说你不是direct sales吧，不要把不是direct sales和不是卖产品混为一谈。还有，他们的制度是，你要做经销商，你一定要买一个产品。下线也是。这不是卖产品是什么？
Winston Wong, “We’re not MLM company, we are different from other MLM company.”
这句很矛盾，而且在这间公司里你会常常听到的一句话。简单一点老说，你到底是不是MLM？
Winston Wong, “Our MLM system is different from others.” (WTF!? What are you going to say?)
如前面讲的，你到底是不是MLM公司。如果不是的话为什么一直和其他MLM公司比较？不过我想大家都知道你们就是一间MLM！MLM有什么好paiseh的？是就是，不要怕讲出来。
Winston Wong, “Did your parents teach you how to be success?”
没有，而且这世上没人会教你如何成功。只有一个人能教你成功，那就是你自己。我有写过关于成功要道的短短一篇，可以读读。
Winston Wong, “We’re not pyramid scheme. Even if we are the pyramid, then in this world what is not pyramid?”
是啊，这世上哪个不是pyramid系统呢？为什么你们那么怕承认自己是pyramid的其中一个。我觉得很矛盾。
Winston Wong, “You just need to listen and follow.”
很可惜，这更加确定了这行业不适合我。我是个很喜欢想的人。我不会盲从的。虽然说整个system在那里了，我们不用担心，那我国的整个system也在那里了，为什么我们仍然不断挑战呢？
其实还有很多很多，我记不起来了。不过其中很多是用激将法想要叫人加入的。还有，他们一直用Bill Gates来做比较。好像说到全部人都能够比Bill Gates有钱。而且可以看见，90%在会场的人是学生。
结束过后，我和我朋友的几位uplines出去喝茶，坐他们的车，BMW。他们问我觉得怎样，我说还可以。过后我叫他们告诉我内容，他们说改次。后来我要求几次后才愿意带我上公司。然后在公司里给我讲business plan。那时候我觉得他们好像还有很多事情没告诉我，可是欲速则不达，我想改次有机会再问他们。那天回到hostel里已经是1 or 2 o’clock了。
过后几天的半夜，我还有陪着朋友和他的上线们出去。他们有一个聚会场所是在SS2的。在那里我每次被讲同样的business plan。老实说，我都会背了，不过我知道这plan的后面有很多hidden的东西。我问了，上线说我join了过后就会知道更多。
其中和上线的谈话：
上线：“我们是不会骗你的，你的朋友也不会骗你的。”
我懂啊，你们是不会骗我，因为你们已经太相信这个系统了。你们现在只是listen and follow，怎么骗人？
上线：“如果这行生意是骗人的话，那我为什么还要加入？为什么那么多人加入？”
这我就不懂了，我每次讲骗话时，偏偏那么多人相信我。
上线：“这生意不可能做不成的。只有不想做的人才不会在这个生意里成功。如果这生意不能做的话，为什么你的朋友要做？还介绍你做？”
老实说，我是他第一个下线。而且以我对他的了解，他很容易被人影响的。
后来我和朋友去了另外一个BOT，是这个组织的传说中人物讲的——Steven Yeam。我觉得他说话真得很厉害，确实有那种影响力。
累了，改天继续写。
我写这个东西不是想说这行也不能做。所谓行行出状元，在这行业也有成功的例子，不过通常是属于早期加入的人。有些朋友也许会怪我不早点写着东西出来，我不介意的。因为我写着东西本来的目的就不是为了让你们不加入这间公司，只是想让你们了解它的运作。

I got a room in sunway monash condo, but guess what, there’s a lot of things spoiled in that unit.
First of all, it’s the door. The side of the door was loose and the whole door is coming out and it can’t be closed. Besides, the lock is broken too. Which means even you force the door to close (you must kick the door), you still unable to unlock it! That’s incredible! People can just easily come in and steal our things.
Besides, the ceiling in our unit, all along the corridors and both bathroom is badly leaking. It’s because of the air-con water.
On 18th of Feb 2006, Saturday, one of the management come to our unit. So i show him all the spoiled part, the doors the ceiling, etc. He asked me to report them to him on Monday (they don’t work on Sunday). Well, he’s a friendly guy, so i decide to do what he told me.
But the sad incident came, on that night, it was raining cat and dogs, then while i was in the room, i heard a big “bang” sound. It freaks me out and i just open my door and saw the whole piece of ceiling at the bathroom (room is just opposite the bathroom, bad feng-shui) fall down on the floor. It was fortunate that no one was in the bathroom. The ceiling was break into small pieces at the edge, and you can see that how heavy is the ceiling.
So on monday, 20/2/2006, i was having my orientation in the early morning. So in the afternoon when i came back, i tried to find the management several times but i failed to because there’s no one in the office. So i went to another office to find other management telling one of them the matter, they asked me tried to find the management in my block. But coincidently, there’s this contractor in the office, so he told the constructor follow me to the unit and see what’s going on. I brought him and showed him everything. Then the constructor said, “tell the management at your block later.” I only manage to saw one of the management in my block’s management office at 3 something pm. He’s not the guy i met last time in my unit. So i’m tellin him what’s going on in my unit. He recorded what i reported in a piece of paper and i thanks him.
Days passed, and i still see no one come to solve the problem. I thought maybe they need sometime to process the stuff. On 23th or 24th, i came back and saw the piece of ceiling was put aside. And i bet it’s most probably the act of the maid who cleans our unit. I was like “wtf!”.
So on 25th feb 2006, saturday, i went out for the whole day. At late night i came back, i saw the ceiling that was put aside was gone. I thought finally there’s someone come and fix the problem. Then when i look up, i was stunned. Guess what? They put the broken celing back to its positions and you can still see the breaking part. I checked the rest of the ceiling on the wall, still leaking. You can see water on the corridor, and the door still remain opened (can’t be close without force).
I really do hope they can fix the problem as soon as possible as it’s risking my life there. And also, just now when i took my shower, the water stink. It’s not the normal stink, it stink like shit. It’s SHIT! Or you can call it the salted-fish-shoes-smell. You can even smell your body like shit! I quickly rush to another bathroom and wash myself several times to make sure the smells is totally gone. I think i won’t wash my clothes for few days first, just in case my clothes don’t stink like a salted fish.
I’ll keep track it took how long to fix something that risk the hostelites’ lifes. And please clean the stinky water too. I feel like hating myself because of the smells on my body.

Last year, in the mid of November, i’ve submited my Booking Form and Fees for a single aircon non-balcony room in Sunway Monash Condominium. They’ve promised me that by early submission of booking, i’ll definitely get the room i want.
I paid RM 470 for booking the room immediately after i submit the booking form and got a so-call-receipt from them which is not a proper receipt. It’s just a photocopied of the first page of my booking form and a cop of the management office.
Somehow the next few months, i tried to email them regarding the issues and ask for the confirmation of my room. After sending so many emails, i’ve only got one reply:
Please be informed that we have received accommodation booking form dated 21/11/05. Sorry for not informing you earlier. You will be informed in due course when the allocation is finalized. Currently we are busy with the new students coming for the pre u. programmes.
So they haven’t processed any of my bookings. That’s sucks honestly. I felt like cheated so i send back several email enquires when will the exact date of my allocation be done. The day i received that email is 6th January 2006. It’s almost after a month they replied my email. But further on, i got no repliy from them again. And in this letter, they don’t exactly answer me whether i can get the room i want or not.
I got no letter, no phone calls from them either.
So on 6th February 2006, exactly one month after their first reply, they told me that i’m allocated in Sinlge Non Air Con room. Hell, they’re breaking their promise! I doubt their policy and this is how they reply me:
Firstly you must understand how we operate before you question our policy.
It is not a question of booking early and you can demand any type of room
you need especially single A/C rooms. We have got 1400 students staying in
the condo hostel and roughly about 200 plus checked out after completing
their studies .Among these 200 plus, some of them were from single rooms.
These single rooms especially A/C rooms, will be allocated to staying
students who have been waiting for months for their single A/C rooms. So
,you can see it is difficult for new incoming students to get single A/C
rooms . you have to stay at the allocated rooms for a while and change to
single A/C when it is available. I hope you understand how we operate.
Please confirm your acceptance of the allocated room as soon as possible.
So i quoted some from their disclaimer:
Accommodation is available for outstation and international students from Sunway University College’s Hostel Management Office. The hostel is available on a first-come-first serve basis, and students can choose between the two types of hostels available, which are apartment style and condominium style.
iv. that priority will be given to new full-time international/outstation students
Man! I’m from outstation, and they don’t put me in the priority as i’ve booked earlier.
I’m not really angry for not getting an aircon room, what i’m angry for is that they DID NOT try to processed my booking earlier and effectively. And they informed me about the allocation just few days before i’m leaving for it! It’s sucks and mess up all the plans i made. If they could allocated me earlier, maybe i still can plan for living at other places.
Honestly, I’ve thoughts not studying there in stead of other universities. It’s their own loss.

Okie, definitely i’ll not go, why?
look at this:
1. Rate : RM 2/hour (Billable at RM 0.50 per 15 minutes)
2. Speed : 256 Kbps
3. Surfing Restriction : None
you see, now we’re using so-call-128 kbps provide by the same group (the CNX ppl told me that) and what we deserve is worse than 56 kbps!
2nd, sometimes i just want to download small small things.. and definitely it can be settled less than 1 minutes (if you really do provide us what you promise).. and you minimum limit is 15 minutes? wth is that?
and then, here’s the problem again.. i’m a bt-hardcorer if i can use it! but you see, one time i download a lot of anime, movies, games, and pornwhatever you can name it.. it may take me several days to download it! and i calculate already, 1 hour Rm 2, then 1 day 24 hours is 24×2= RM 48. Okie, then two days RM 48 x 2 = RM 96!!!! man!!! this is much more expensive than steamyx!
you don’t believe me? okie, this is the price for 256kbps streamyx.. oh.. sad case! streamyx don’t provide 256kbps anymore! their minimum package is 512kbps and it’s only RM 66 per month!
if i use the cnx + sunway service (i strongly believe sunway got commision from it) for fully one month, RM 48 x 30 = RM 1440. With this price, i can apply a streamyx account and there’s still some leftovers. And RM 1440 / RM 66 = 21.82 (2 decimal places)!!! damn it, it’s 21.82 times more expensive than streamyx!
besides, they’re share the same network among other hostelites. As we all know, our network is very very very the unstable! it always down and down and down again! you think it’s like action movie? “Get Down!” more action? “Get Down Again!”
you see, i’m not so stewpid to buy that tiny little prepaid card! perhaps there’re still a lot of fishes to be fished by you! but i hope this very little voice can be heard by our hostelites and hope they’re mature enough to think where should they spend their parents’ money on! If you still so dumb go and buy the card after reading this, i tell you, stop studying in sunway and but come and clean my toilet bowl! i pay you for that!
