昨天首相Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak在砂拉越土著保守联合党(Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu Sarawak, PBB)第十二届大会上说：“只要PBB在砂拉越继续得到人民的支持，巫统(UMNO)就不会进入砂拉越。”
这叫做软性威胁。砂拉越是唯一一个在马来西亚没有被染指的州属，而砂拉越人民引以为傲。据闻这是PBB的头，也就是砂拉越首长Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud为了某些利益问题而阻止UMNO进入砂拉越的。砂拉越人民见证了那么多UMNO在其他州属做的蠢事以及说的蠢话（例如Allah事件），我们真的不想砂拉越人民的智慧会因此被侮辱（不是变笨，这叫侮辱）。
说实在的，砂拉越人民投谁是砂拉越的事，因为首相这席话，我本身受过教育的人会觉得很反感。首相想利用这种软性恐吓的方式来吓人民再次投给PBB，真的很愚蠢。如果PBB真的好的话，就不需要用这种话来恐吓人民，而且首相原本想把UMNO塑造成英雄的形象大概也达不到效果，简直就是个流氓政党。

在读着Google AFP的新闻时，发现到这篇新闻（Malaysia launches Borneo development project）出现了错误。
事实上马来西亚最大的州（State）不是沙巴（Sabah），而是砂拉越(Sarawak)。AFP会犯上这个错误是难免的。就连西马半岛的人都分不清Sarawak和Sabah有什么不一样，总以为它们是一体的。
生活在马来西亚就如身在两个不一样的国家。在西马半岛的报纸要阅读到东马的新闻是难上加难，就连透过网际网络也是困难重重。而东马的报纸常常都可以知道西马半岛到底发生了什么事。就算到了选举政府有什么糖果分，也很难会分给东马民众。
Ah Moo : I heard it will be soon. I never miss voting. My son will come pick me up as always. I still read the newsapers every day. I have nothing to do. It used to be my husband accompanies me for voting but now my son accompanies me.
We have a government who doesn’t care for its people. On the other hand, we have an opposition who nobody pays attention to. What choice do I have in elections? At least my son will come and accompany me for a few hours.
Bengbeng : Why do you vote? It is so difficult for you and especially your son when you have to leave the house.
Ah Moo : My husband used to do it because he believes in our rights as a citizen. I believe in them. This is one of the few remaining rights I have as an elderly woman. My right to vote. I don’t care for my future any more. I don’t worry for the future of my children. They are also old already. It is the grandchildren I am concerned about.

这是我在My Longkang那里看到的。觉得很有意思，也引发人深思。如果你有权力投票，为什么你要舍弃身为公民的权力呢？
