2008年十月blog赚的钱
Monday, November 3rd, 2008有两个月没有更新自己的网络收入，以下是十月的网络收入，并不多。
- Google Adsense – $63.04
- TLA – $51.32
- Reviewme – $22.00
- 总数 – $136.36 (RM 477)
自从七月过后，并没有再花心思去提高自己affiliate的销量了。原因纯粹是自己没有什么时间，而且这种收入并不长久，而且以我的blog的浏览类别来看，很难从中赚大钱。可能受全球金融风暴的影响，上个月adsense收入并非如自己如意算盘的预测（因为一年中九月到十一月是blog收入高潮期）。而上个月忙到发霉，所以就试试写两篇reviews解慌，顺便赚点外快。在Reviewme选评论来写还真辛苦，得看到底适不适合自己的blog，还要看对方对评论的要求以及价钱（总不能把自己的blog弄cheap）。写review或许能赚快钱，但有些钱还是得省着赚，不要为了短期的利益而吓跑读者，导致长远利益的损失。
又要换hosting和域名的钱了，十一月的开销还真大。
秘密男
Monday, November 3rd, 2008秘密男和便秘男虽然只差一个字，但却有很大的分别。虽然两者都是肚子里有东西出不来，前者是什么都不可以出来，因为可能会对他人造成严重的伤害；后者是应该出来的却不出来，对自己造成造成严重伤害。
自小不知是不是面相出错的问题，总会有人跑来告诉我分享他们的心事，然后总是叫我不能告诉任何人。我做人有条原则，就是答应了人的事就得做到，除非我忘记了。因为这个原则让我把这些秘密憋得好苦，很多时候很想说出来，却来不及到胸口就被吸进的空气压下去。久而久之‘秘密’对我来说并不陌生，想说出来的冲动也没有了， 而自己的秘密保护得更好。
到底应该如何保守秘密呢？诀窍是不要去保守任何秘密。
- 忘记你所知道的事 – 忘记你所知道的秘密。当你不去想它，忘了它时，到你想爆料时你可能也想不起你要讲些什么。这样也能避免你说梦话泄露秘密。
- 装什么事都不知道 – 把你自己当作局外人，当别人讨论这件事的时候，你就装成一附好像刚刚知道的惊讶表情，不要忘记给你自己的个人意见（但不要爆料）。
- 不要欲言又止 – 这样做等于告诉别人你知道些什么，就算你极力否认，别人还是会穷追猛打地问你。
- 向告诉你秘密的人问谁知道他的秘密 – 这是特别重要的，这不代表你可以还开心地和这些人讨论秘密，反而让你需要更警惕这些人，要做到连他们都不懂你懂那些秘密。
- 不要与他们讨论牵涉秘密的话题 – 这是避免触碰地雷的最好方法。就算讨论到相关话题，反应不要太大，自然一点。
- 否认到底 – 如果你演技那么不好，不小心让人知道你守有秘密，你唯一能做的就是极力否认你不知道任何秘密。千万不要承认，这样做就算你不说别人也会把你逼死。
- 转移话题 – 转移话题是很容易做到的事（只是在我身上发挥不了功效），只要一讲到敏感话题，你就得很巧妙地转移对方的注意力。
- 说谎 – 如果秘密守不住了，那就变一个像样的谎话蒙骗对方。这招十分管用。
虽然我是八卦了一点，可是当别人告诉我一些他们的心事时，不懂得该怎么回应他们却成了我的遗憾，好像什么都不能帮到对方。而自己很容易分心，对方讲一半时时常被我打叉，并不是一个很好的聆听者。这么多年了，还是有那么多人愿意告诉我他们的心事和秘密，让我觉得很高兴，至少这告诉我还是值得信赖的。这些年来的观察也发现到很多人越是很好的朋友，其实越不能分享秘密，反而喜欢告诉一个外人。这或许就是不喜欢一个很了解很认识自己的人知道自己更多东西了吧，毕竟当一个人完全被另外一个人了解时，那种安全感也没有了。
还有就是当你告诉人一些事的时候没要求对方保守秘密或没签任何同意书的话，那些话都是可以拿出来八卦以及传的。
男厕
Monday, November 3rd, 2008很多男人大概除了小时候跟随妈妈进入女厕外，长大后几乎没什么机会再进去了吧？成年男人进入女厕，就会被喊非礼色狼之类的，而女人却可以大大方方地进入男厕（却不能使用站式尿盆），而这时的男人也会羞涩地快快离开女人的视线。虽然女人进男厕好像天经地义，但还是很多女人没种这么做，硬要憋着尿排着上女厕。
其實男廁和女廁的分別不大，間格和大小很多時候都是一樣， 唯一不同的是，男廁大約四分一的範圍會改建為尿兜，就如下圖一樣:
有女性讀者問，尿兜與尿兜之間是否會有遮擋板的呢？這其實不一定，最主要是看那洗手間是否有足夠空間，也要視乎那店鋪是否願意付錢加裝那一塊遮擋板。

Futurama: Bender’s Game

又看完了一部Futurama卡通。《Futurama: Bender’s Game》故事起源于拿来充当太空船燃料的黑暗物质面临短缺，而油价也不断高涨。这使得Farnsworth教授在非必要下禁止使用太空船，但Leela却禁不起别人的挑衅而偷偷驾驶太空船去与别人进行太空战。她虽然赢了比赛，却被教授惩罚她不能使用暴力。而在这时机器人Bender被其它小孩排斥因为它没有任何想象力。Bender不服输，它不断尝试想象，最后它成功了，可是却越陷越深，最后活在自己的想象世界里，也因此被关在机器人精神病院。而Farnsworth教授为了不让一个曾抛弃他的女人控制全世界的黑暗物质，他立志把黑暗物质破坏掉。阴错阳差下，他们都进入了机器人Bender’s的想象世界。经过一番努力，黑暗物质终于被破坏了。
Farnsworth教授曾在卡通里说过这么一句话：“唯一让黑暗物质短缺的方法就是消灭它，这样全世界的科学家才会开始寻找替代能源。”

Home Based Typist/Data Entry Specialist Scam
Saturday, November 1st, 2008前几天在网络上找找看有没有什么工作做，结果看到一个聘请打字员的。
我按进去看看，要求很简单，打字速度只需要40 wpm，而且只要在家里有稳定的网络就能申请这项工作，而每个星期工资可以达到$300~$400usd。抱着怀疑的态度就电邮了给放工作广告的人，很快地我就得到回应，连我最基本的资料都没问。然后电邮里写着我需要付$10usd的钱来买一个training package，顿时我觉得那是一个scam。但$10买一个scam，也值得的，至少能在我的blog里写出来，如果不是scam那我就做个家里工作的打字员赚点外快也不错的，所以就付了那钱。
虽然对方说会在24小时之内寄给我training package，但是过了两天才收到，而且这次电邮里才写明是不退款的，而且他所做的一切服务都是合法的，我还开training pack就知道那是个scam了。不过这更好，让我有机会写篇文章教育人们不要陷入骗局。这里有training material (pdf)可以下载，不过你可以继续读，我会把训练配套一一抄出来。
起初是简单的介绍：

Overview:
The objective of this work is to teach others how to do what you will be doing. Your payment comes when you collect the processing fee for sending them the materials. The instructions are easy to follow; the income potential from this business is limited only by the amount of effort you are willing to put forth.

Step 1:
The first step is to recruit new trainees. You will do so by placing employment ads. There are numerous websites that allow you to post job listings for free. Other sites (monster.com, careerbuilder.com) charge you a fee — that cost usually equals a substantially larger viewership. Also, many local free newspapers or community newspapers allow you to place free classified ads. It is your choice where you want to advertise, and you would be best off trying a number of resources at first, then waiting to find out which ones work best and continuing to use them. There is no set text for the employment ads. Again, a good suggestion is to try several ads and see which ones work best. There are some sample employment ads listed further down. The goal is to have trainees respond to you via email. Because you will get a substantial quantity of responses, it is usually a good idea to set up a separate email account dedicated to them, so your personal email account is not inundated. Remember, the more places your job ad is posted, the more responses you will receive. It is your job to research which sites will allow you to post your ads for free.

Step 2:
Respond to the email inquiries you receive. Your email response will contain a more detailed description of the work at hand. Your email should also explain that there is a small fee associated with the training materials. You can set whatever price you want for the training materials — you can charge whatever the market is willing to pay! The typical fee ranges from $10 to $25. If you charge too much, people are hesitant to pay for the materials; if you charge too little, you won’t receive adequate compensation for your efforts. Your email response must also include instructions on how the trainee can send the funds to you. The most common form of payment is through PayPal. Everything about the PayPal account is free, and it is a secure and anonymous way to send money. Samples of these emails are given on the following pages.Note: The Personal account on PayPal is completely free; however, you can only receive funds from someone else who also has a PayPal account. Therefore, it is recommended that you instead set up a PayPal Premier account, which also allows you to accept direct credit card payments for a small fee. You are not charged if someone sends you funds through their PayPal account, but for people who wish to use a credit card directly, you are charged a small fee (49¢ on $10, 88¢ on $20, etc.). Step 3:
When someone sends you the fee, send them the training materials. Abide by any guidelines you set out in the Step 2 email, e.g. “training materials will be sent within 24 hours of payment being received”. You can just reuse this training manual, or you can create your own if you prefer. When you email the materials, it is a good idea to include a brief message in the email. Thank them for their interest, wish them good luck, and remind them that, now that they have received the instructions, the fee is non-refundable.

Here are a few more tips:
- Because you are earning the money yourself, remember that your fees are taxable income. You alone are responsible for correctly reporting this income, and you are solely responsible for the consequences if you fail to do so.
- Remember to double-check the spelling and grammar in all employment ads and email correspondences. You are a professional — make sure your communications reflect this.
- It is a good idea to personalize each email communication. The person receiving the email won’t feel like just another number — they will appreciate you addressing them as an individual.
- Some people feel that providing this service is “a scam” or may in other ways speak negatively about this line of work. But the truth is quite the contrary — you are providing valuable information to an interested party, and are earning a reasonable fee for your services. Even though you might be skeptical at first, this is really an amazing way to make legitimate
income. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you will earn back the training fee, plus all the other income you will generate. I hope you have as much success as I have!
