Jerry告诉我关于香港明报集团将与星洲媒体集团以及南洋报合并。也在星洲日报网站看到了这则新闻。
（吉隆坡訊）星洲媒體集團和香港明報集團今日（週一，29日）宣佈合併，建立一個全球華文媒體，並邀請南洋報業參與這項合併。

续上次那篇《反垄断？我反企业游戏》后，我不想多做回应。只想对一些充斥着理想主义的人说，要做对的事情来达到对的目的。
以前古人得到一部兵法就如得到什么宝器，在战争中无往不胜。现在你要得到一部兵法是何其容易，可是你本身是个运用兵法的宝物吗？

在机场看见几位熟人，差点就认不出他们了。
没想到几年不见，大家都变了那么多。发型改了，穿着变了，还好身高不变。
他们问我说，怎么我改变不大，只是换了眼镜，忽胖忽瘦而已。
与一位旧同学聊天的时候，他告诉我说他已经忘了大部分ex-classmate的名字，他会记得我都不知道该不该感到荣幸。
有趣的是，我们印象中在班上坐的位子原来都是错的。原因是当年大家都一直换位，而我们大多时间都是睡觉，醒来过后，每个人的位置都移位了。
想起来，这几年来几乎都没什么与旧同学联络过，只是几位友好的偶尔联络。看见面熟的人，都只是微笑打招呼。
不知道其他人还记得一位叫做黄德峻Wong Teck Jung的人吗？

宗教本身是好的，不好的是人。
Dr Abdul Majid Katme, head of the Islamic Medical Association, is telling Muslims that almost all vaccines contain products derived from animal and human tissue, which make them “haram”, or unlawful for Muslims to take.
Islam permits only the consumption of halal products, where the animal has had its throat cut and bled to death while God’s name is invoked.

穆斯林的教义不是提倡科学的方法吗？怎么这位英国的穆斯林医生有这么愚昧的想法？
很多宗教人士把宗教放在人命之上，这是我所不能理解的。
那天一位朋友听我的劝买了Think Out of The Box这本书。读完后，他说是一本很棒的书，他会照着书里面去做的。我当场就鸟他说：“我当初介绍错你这本书了。我介绍你不是想要你从一个箱子搬到另外一个箱子，我要你有的是思想独立。”

每个国家都有自己的文化，每个种族也有自己的文化，甚至每个家庭都可以有不一样的文化。
I would later find out this is a common theme in Japanese culture. Most Japanese people choose to avoid confrontation, and prefer to complain about you when you’re not around. This is distasteful to me as a Westerner, but as a resident of Japan it’s something I have to respect and understand. Now I have a much higher tolerance and understanding of this kind of behaviour, but it was a big culture-shock for me when I first came over.

这是一位澳洲人去日本居住时，为了能继续在日本生存，所以就教英文。他被告知需要在第二个课堂上准备一套课程，虽然准备了，可是由于上课人数太少所以他并没有以他计划的教学。日本人基于礼貌面子上的关系，所以对这为澳洲人客客气气的，背后与老板投诉。结果这为澳洲人被炒鱿鱼了，觉得日本人这行为很卑劣。
日本人这样的行为在澳洲人眼里是不礼貌的，可是澳洲人希望他们当面讲的做法，在日本人眼里是不礼貌的。不同文化的人住在一起，原本就很容易起冲突，如果不尝试了解对方，就算你们相处再久也是没用的。

马来西亚媒体NSTP集团控告两位bloggers事件，NSTP每天都在报道着这件事，并要博客们把他们的对这件事的相关Blogging文章都拿下。
KUALA LUMPUR: Blogger Ahirudin Attan, who is slapped with a defamation and malicious falsehood suit, continues to display comments from his readers that are prejudicial to the case. The plaintiffs, New Straits Times Press (M) Berhad, its deputy chairman, chief executive officer, group-editor-in-chief and Brendan Pereira raised the issue before High Court judge Datuk Hishamudin Yunus and wanted the postings removed.

日本一向来重男轻女。
MATSUE, Shimane Pref. (Kyodo) Health minister Hakuo Yanagisawa referred to women as “birth-giving machines” in a speech Saturday on welfare and health care.

日本卫生部长认为女人介于15到50岁的都可以生孩子。可他不想花最多时间照顾孩子的是谁啊？加上日本生活费不是普通的高，就算政府补助应该也不能帮到多少吧？

这个物理里的大象显然是作答者自己画上去的。
记得中学时期有一个科学老师，每次遇到她不会回答的题目的时候，都自己把题目改一点然后解决问题。如果遇到连改都改不了的题目，她就说着题目是狗屁不同。

如果你很喜欢上传影片到YouTube与人共赏的话，你也有机会赚大钱。
People who upload their own films to video-sharing website YouTube will soon get a share of the ad revenue.

YouTube创办人Chad Hurley说他们还在开发这样子的科技，至于如果赚广告钱就不得而知了。不过他倒透露说如果你要透过YouTube赚钱，你必须对你所upload的video拥有所有版权。
在这项赚钱计划还没公布出来的时候，已经可以看出Google YouTube准备如何suspend你的payment了。
- 你的影片与某某影片有雷同之处，我就不给你钱。
不过说以上云云是没用的，闲来无事就想想YouTube这个广告钱将会如何做成的。
- 在影片播放前会有video广告，如果人play了可是不按广告，那你是没钱收的。所以与adsense同理，你就要做到越多人看你的广告你才能赚越多的钱。
- 你的YouTube video page里有adsense广告，如果有人按你就赚，可是如果你作弊你就完蛋。
不知道其他只是播放片子的人（可是不是上传者）是否有钱赚呢？各位可以看看我拍过的短片（被观看过两千多次，满骄傲的），不过上传人不是我。
