Nemesis required. 6-month project with possibilty to extend

I’ve been trying to think of ways to spice up my life. I’m 35 years old, happily married with two kids and I have a good job in insurance. But somethings missing. I feel like I’m old before my time. I need to inject some excitement into my daily routine through my arm before its too late. I need a challenge, something to get the adrenaline pumping again. An addiction would be nice, but, in short, I need a nemesis. I’m willing to pay $350 up front for you services as an arch enemy over the next six months. Nothing crazy. Steal my parking space, knock my coffee over, trip me when Im running to catch the BART and occasionaly whisper in my ear, “Ahha, we meet again”. That kind of thing. Just keep me on my toes. Complacency will be the death of me. You need to have an evil streak and be blessed with innate guile and cunning. You should also be adept at inconsicuous pursuit. Evil laugh preferred. Send me a photo and a brief explanation why you would be a good nemesis.

美国最赚钱的蓝领

以前在看中文或日文的医院电视剧/电影时，常常被内科和外科这两个词汇所困扰，到底这两者有什么不同呢？星屑医生短短两句就解释清楚了：“英文人沒有這個迷思. 因為內科是Medicine, 即是用藥來治療. 外科是Surgery, 即是用刀. 兩者不會混淆.”

爱因斯坦讲过，如果你真了解一样东西的话，那你一定能解释给你的婆婆听。

很多人都希望做个白领族（例如医生），以为那坐在办公室里，享受，工作量少，工钱高。其实蓝领一族也可以有高收入的。Forbes就列出了美国十项高收入蓝领工作。

虽然不是一开始就可以赚钱，不过不表示永远都会停留在同样的地方。行行出状元。

Applefume在msn叫我唤醒一些有明星梦的年轻人。她写出了她制作人朋友要的明星条件。

1）要帅的
2）要很会弹乐器的
3）要声音会令人惊喜的
4）要长得很高的至少6尺
5）要会创作的
6）要会跳舞的
7）要有气质的
8）要有修养的
9）要有耐心的 （做这行没有耐心永远看不到太阳出来的日子）
10）要沉着的也要很阳光的
11）生活要有规律的
12）对爱情没有任何的幻想的 （无论是同性恋、异性恋还是双性恋都不行）

我自问以上12点，我勉强只能符合一个条件，那就是第12条。还好我从小就没有明星梦，对明星也不怎么有什么憧憬。

最近越来越多失业的人。

Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute operational and strategic initiatives - planning, gathering and synthesizing relevant data, leading analysis and developing final recommendations.
* Provide market and regional expertise.

Requirements and Qualifications::

* 5 to 10 years experience in a line management role (general management, sales, marketing) for a high growth technology firm / entrepreneurial endeavor, or equivalent experience at the senior associate/engagement manager level at a leading consulting firm.
* Demonstrated top quartile performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence.
* MBA or equivalent preferred; undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering or other technical field preferred.
* Experience in the software, internet, media, or fast-paced technology start-up industries strongly preferred.
* Distinctive problem solving and analytic skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate with highly technical management team.
* Work experience and keen understanding of the competitive landscape in Malaysia required.
* Established network of contacts.

* Fluency in English and Malay. Outstanding presentation skills in both languages.

前几天看到一个很有趣的theory，为什么马来西亚的失业率持续攀升。
一个公司，最大的就是老板。老板自己已经不能promote到更高的地位了，那它也就不用promote其他人上来了，因为都没那种position给其他人。因为这种金字塔的关系，没有人事动迁，所以一个公司也就不用再招聘什么新人。因为这种原因，如果没有人被炒鱿鱼的情况下，就没有人被promote，那就没有什么位子空出来，就不会去招聘人来做工。如果是因为这种原因的话，那么如果要让一间公司扩充就业机会给其他人的话，那一间公司就要扩大发展。
其实很多公司不看学历的，什么本地外国公司它们都不管的。最主要这些人失业的原因是因为自己的attitude problem（看我的housemate就懂）。
其实哪里都有工作机会，是看你自己放得下尊严罢了。
越来越多人想自己创业，创业容易守业难。赚钱机会哪里都有，看你的luck还有眼光了。最重要的是快，狠，准！（功夫）
