以下是Chris McCabe给年轻销售员的建议:

  1. Don’t just work hard; work smart.  Integrate ideas and people.  Build your ideas and plans carefully.
  2. Know what your boss’s needs are, and what makes him or her tick.
  3. Really understand the role your company’s products or services play with your customers and why they are valuable.
  4. Monitor, as best you can, your colleagues, and try to do things just as good, if not better.
  5. Just show up at work every day and try to find the silver lining.  I know it sounds like a cliche, but it’s really important.

这个是David P. Snyder对C.M.的访谈,从”How to Mind-Read Your Customers”里抄出来的。这本书主要是讲说,你不能改你的性格(personality),不过你可以改你的行为(Behavior)来改变客户对你的印象。文中还提到,客户永远是最大的。
