异性不一定相吸
2010年3月15日出刊的TIME杂志里的有关于Tom Hanks的文章中写了这么一段：
Back in World War II, we viewed the Japanese as ‘yellow, slant-eyed dogs’ that believed in different gods. They were out to kill us because our way of living was different. We, in turn, wanted to annihilate them because they were different. Does that sound familiar, by any chance, to what’s going on today?

以上是Tom Hanks讲的话，大致是说二战时日本人杀美国人是因为生活文化不同，而美国人想毁灭日本人是因为他们与美国人不同。这和早年红印第安人与白人时是一样的想法。
想说的是这种现象不只是发生在国与国之间，还发生在人与人之间。身边很多人因为其它人的意见或看法与自己不同，就想尽办法把对方踢出自己的社交圈子。
