如何在澳洲购买便宜的Windows 7？
Windows 7率先在澳洲推出，我心痒得想买来安装。要买一个新Windows 7是很贵的，没几百块钱是买不到的，就算买升级安装片也是需要很大一笔钱。如果你是在澳洲留学的学生，你只需要花澳币$50就可以购买一个Microsoft Windows 7 Professional升级版。
Microsoft在特定国家提供了学生价特别优惠折扣项目——It’s Not Cheating，上次只花了澳币75元就买到了Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007，而这次Microsoft让学生以仅仅澳币$49.95的价钱把自己的视窗从XP升级到Microsoft Windows 7。
目前Microsoft Windows Vista本人用得满满意的，而且又看到一些报道说Windows 7只是少了些烦人的通知系统和稍微慢些，搞得我很犹豫需不需要upgrade。
Fox of Consumer Reports says that if you’ve owned a computer for a year or two and are using Vista without any problems, then pass on Windows 7. But if you’re annoyed by the nagging or sluggishness, then upgrade.
When it comes to speed, Steve Fox, editorial director of PC World magazine, says Windows 7 is “only marginally faster than Vista.”
安装Microsoft Windows 7的电脑配备需求是什么呢？
- 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
- 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
- 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
- DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
在升级或安装Microsoft Windows 7之前，先测试看看你的电脑是否适合以及是否所有软体都能在Windows 7上运行，另外就是一定要储存备份。
如果不升级又觉得自己很跟不上时代的感觉，而且今年就要毕业了，明年就享有不到学生优惠。我想这个问题需要等到考试后才考虑要不要升级，免得升级过程搞坏了电脑导致资料全部不见，读不成书。我想我很大可能性不会升级，大概等到拥有一台64-bit processor的电脑时才用Windows 7。
