Would suggest that you sign up with Alliance Francaise at either Lorong Gurney or Pusat Bandar Damansara. French is very difficult - grammar, sentence construction and pronounciation - and learning on your own is not going to be easy. For more details, just google Alliance Francaise Malaysia and go to their website. (Side note: I'm currently learning French - am at basic level 4.)
